Q Gallery Contemporary Art emerged in 2021 as a beacon for contemporary art in the heart of Apapa Lagos State a commercial hub with the busiest ports in Nigeria. It is a home to some of the world's magnificent art collections of masterpieces and their history.

Founded by a visionary art collector and interior designer Juliana Edewor-Izegbu with a passion for promoting emerging talents in the art world. Her love for aesthetics and creativity became evident at a very young age of 16 where she started collecting art.

As an avid Art collector, interior design expert and African art historian, her collection covers various artists, styles and periods, ranging from African arts to the diaspora reflecting her eclectic taste and foresight. She didn't just acquire artworks, she cultivate a relationship with the artists providing them with the platform they need to thrive. Known for her keen eye and commitment to supporting artists at different stages of their career, she decided to turn her passion for that into a career. She founded Q Gallery as a space dedicated to showcasing contemporary artists both emerging and established pushing boundaries in various mediums. The cynosure of Q Gallery is boosting individual Artistic practices, pushing boundaries and promoting meaningful dialogue through groundbreaking ideas, stories and media.

The Gallery has become a creative and promotional hub, hosting curated exhibitions, artists talks engaging events, and creative partnerships both offline and online. Juliana's passion for fostering creativity and connecting artists with audience has shaped Q Gallery Contemporary Art into a dynamic space that continues to evolve and inspire.
